Overview

Lattice Semiconductor LPTM-ASC-B-EVN Breakout Board is a versatile hardware platform for evaluating and designing with L-ASC10 devices. It's designed to work alongside the Platform Manager 2 Development Kit. This kit includes a board and documentation available for download. Implement and debug scaleable hardware management functions (power, thermal, and control plane management) and test them out with this evaluation board. The core of the ASC Breakout Board is the L-ASC10 device. The board includes hardware to emulate Power Management, Thermal Management, and Control Plane Functions in the form of slider potentiometers, LEDs, and temperature sensors. The board also includes unpopulated circuit footprints for evaluation of advanced functions like trimming/margining and hot swap. The board will be detected automatically by the Platform Manager 2 I2C GUI for measurement and control. The board includes a connector for use with the Platform Manager 2 Development Kit - the ASC Breakout Board requires the Platform Manager 2 Development Kit for operation. The L-ASC10 device on the board is programmed using Lattice Diamond Programmer via the Platform Manager 2 Development Kit and USB Cable. Power for the board comes from the Platform Manager 2 Development Kit.
